Is Executive Function Coaching the same as occupational therapy?
No, Executive Function Coaching is not Occupational Therapy, psychological counseling, or academic tutoring and is not meant to replace these services. It is a unique coaching process to empower students to manage time, communicate effectively, prioritize assignments and activities, and build foundational skills for success in school and life after graduation.
We are private pay and we do not accept insurance. We cannot provide a traditional super bill, however, we can provide a billing summary with charges, services, dates, and payments
Do you accept insurance?
How long will my student need executive function coaching?
Every student is unique! We cannot give a specific number of sessions required but recommend committing to a minimum of three months to allow your student to identify their goals, learn the processes necessary to work toward their goals, become confident in their skills, and transition to independence.
Yes! By parent request and with a signed consent form, we will communicate with your student’s school team to support carryover of learned skills. When requested and as appropriate, we will attend IEP or 504 meetings to support development of accommodations to address executive function skills.
Do you meet with schools?
Due to the individualized nature of the services provided by Core Executive Function Coaching, we only offer 1:1 coaching sessions to maximize the benefit of your student’s time.
